The board is responsible setting direction, policy and boundaries; providing oversight and protect organizational reputation; selecting, supporting and assessing the Executive Director; resource mobilization and organizational effectiveness and ensuring legal and moral compliance by the organization with appropriate laws, regulations and codes of conduct
The Chairman is responsible for the operation, leadership and governance of the Board, ensuring its effectiveness and setting its agenda. The Treasurer shall provide advice on budgetary and financial developments of the organization. The Executive Director is responsible for the management of the Organization and the implementation of Board strategy and policy
Lanoi Parmuat holds a PhD, M.A Gender and Development, Bachelors of Education from The University of Nairobi. A social scientist with enormous working experience in gender issues and advocacy especially among the pastoralist – Maasai community.
Mrs. Florence Sagide is the Treasurer to ENAI – Africa.
She has over 22 years’ experience in the banking sector with both Barclays and Equity Bank where she has built a strong background in people management and interpersonal skills; resource management, change management, performance management, succession planning.
She is currently the Human Resources Business Partner and Training Manager Operations at Equity Bank of Kenya.
Dr. Moses Gitonga is a holder of a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BMV) from University of Nairobi and has served as a Veterinary officer in the ministry of livestock and development in Nakuru and Kajiado Counties. Dr. Gitonga brings his immense experience of over 30 years to the board in advising on thematic area of food security and livestock development among the pastoralist’s communities.
He is also a member of Veterinarians with a mission. An organization that reaches out to Pastoral Communities with Veterinary services
Dr. James Yiaile is currently a Phd student, holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health . he is an adviser on health programmes run by the organization.
He has over 17 years of experience in managing community health programmes including epidemiology, Health education,health promotion, Immunizations and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
She is a dynamic Kenyan lady with self-drive and desire to innovate new ideas in realizing great experience in education management, organizational development and strategic leadership. Through professional training and work experience, she has accomplished a career in education management and training with varied experience in corporate governance.
